Wendie Blair Omenai is an example
and role model for anyone desiring to achieve greatness despite humble
beginnings. She has overcome obstacles
and challenges as she has journeyed toward success. Her commitment to excellence and
determination to be the victor and not the victim, coupled with her advocacy of
civil rights, equality, health, welfare and education and her passion to help
children, the elderly and disabled persons has resulted in her founding of R-DAYs Home Care Services, LLC and co-founding APKO Property Investors, LLC.
Wendie was born in Akron, Ohio, the
youngest girl of nine children. She is
the mother of four children and grandmother of eight. While she gave birth to four children, she
officially raised five children and has been very instrumental in the nurturing
and development of many children and adults.
Wendie has always been an excellent
student that values education, knowledge acquisition and skill
development. She is committed not only
to her own personal and professional development, but also to that of
others. Wendie has an associate degree
in both medical assisting and business management and a bachelor degree in
entrepreneurship. She graduated magna
cum laude and is a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. Wendie has received certification in First Aid, CPR/AED, phlebotomy, and Medication Administration
(category #1). She has
affiliation/active membership with the Department of Developmental
Disabilities, Area on Aging, Accreditation Commission for Healthcare, Lead with
Integrity (an international online leadership group of entrepreneurs), and
Network Notions (business networking group).
Wendie Blair Omenai has over 20
years of experience in various aspects of healthcare (home-care, plasmapheresis,
ophthalmology, urinalysis, phlebotomy). She
is an Independent Provider for MRDD and in 2009 she founded a senior care
agency, R-DAYs Home Care Services, LLC.
Wendie assists and mentors many aspiring entrepreneurs as they endeavor
to set up new businesses.
